Over 15 years ago, we installed over a 1000 feet of our popular Four Board Kentucky Farm Fence. Recently, the owner contacted us to remove some posts and panels to make way for a new driveway. What we discovered during this process was truly validating to our approach, process, and commitment to quality.
Our Kentucky Fence is built to last, and this recent experience confirmed that. The type of lumber we use is carefully selected for its durability and longevity. We take great care in prepping and painting the posts to ensure they are protected from the elements. Despite being 15 years old, we were pleased to find that there was no wood rot present in any of the posts or panels. This speaks volumes about the quality of materials and craftsmanship that goes into our fences.
In addition to the quality of the lumber use in our fences, we also pay attention to every detail, down to the nails and hardware used in construction. Rust can be a common issue with outdoor structures over time, but we were pleased to find that there was no rust present in any of the nails or hardware used in this particular fence. This attention to detail is what sets our fences apart and ensures that they will stand the test of time.
A Farm Fence Built To Last
As we removed the posts and panels from the farm near Olde York Farms, it became clear that everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained. It was a pleasant surprise to see how easily everything could be repurposed elsewhere on the farm without needing extensive repairs or replacements.
